Our range of Sawn Edge paving creates a more modern design without changing too much of the stone. Each edge is cut straight to allow for narrower joints. We have selected some of our most popular paving slabs to add to this range.

Raj Green Paving – Sawn & Riven

Sandstone

Raj Green sawn edge, another slight change on the classic Raj Green this time we have the edges cut straight for a more modern contemporary finish. This method makes the joints much neater a great choice for slightly newer houses.

Kandla Grey Paving – Sawn & Riven

Kandla Grey sawn edge, one of our alternate finishes on this classic sandstone from India, this time we have the edges cut straight for a more modern contemporary finish but leave the surface riven. This method makes the joints much neater but keeps the natural riven surface, a great choice for slightly newer houses.

Rippon Buff Paving – Sawn & Riven

Sandstone

Rippon Buff sawn and riven is an elegant solution for old meets new. Having the edge sawn straight makes the lines on these slabs look much neater and sleeker.

Midnight Kota Black Paving – Sawn & Riven

Limestone

This is exactly the same as Midnight but the only difference is that the edges have been sawn straight. This makes the edges much sharper and gives them a very contemporary look. If you do not want the riven look of sandstone but want a flatter, more smooth finish then limestone is a good choice. Limestone has a surface finish similar to orange peel. The black colour is stunning, consistent in colour and deep black when wet. The deep black colour when freshly quarried does eventually fade in natural sunlight to a charcoal grey, but will always return to jet black when wet. A sealer will help maintain this colour.

Sandur Yellow Paving – Sawn & Riven

Limestone

Sandur Yellow sawn and riven, this yellow, buff, and earthen brown paving has been cut straight for that modern but rustic finish. The surface hasn’t been treated, leaving it as a natural riven.
